Step into the spotlight with VTC Kids, Vanguard’s signature training program where young performers don’t just take classes — they put on a full-scale production. Over 13 weeks, artists dive into acting, singing, and dancing while building confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Guided by industry professionals, VTC Kids blends the fun of discovery with the rigor of real rehearsal, culminating in performances for family, friends, and the community.

Broadway Bound

9 Sessions + Showcase | $450 | Ages 8 - 14

This program meets weekly on Saturdays for nine weeks, with an additional session on Friday, November 20 for showcase rehearsal. On Saturday, November 21, students will meet from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM for final the final dress rehearsal before presenting their cabaret-style showcase at 3:00 PM. Throughout the program, students will train in dance, vocals, and acting while working with their teachers to refine their pieces and performance skills. The experience culminates in a showcase featuring students’ favorite pieces for friends, family, and fans!

Disney's Frozen JR. is a magical musical filled with adventure, humor, and unforgettable songs. Through themes of courage, self-discovery, empathy, and the importance of family, it reminds us that kindness and love have the power to overcome fear and bring people together.

VTC KIDS inspires our youngest actors to believe in their creative ideas, express themselves with confidence, and support one another. Through foundational theater training, they build focus, imagination, collaboration, and communication skills while growing in an atmosphere of DREAM: Diversity, Reciprocity, Education, Activism, and Mentorship. These skills prepare them not just for the stage, but for every stage of life. Ages 8 - 14
