Hairstory is an original musical that takes students on a journey through global hair traditions, cultural history, and social movements. Guided by 11-year-old Jada, audiences explore themes of identity, resilience, entrepreneurship, and belonging through music, storytelling, and multimedia design.
Every student has a relationship to Hair and its cultural meaning which makes this performance immediately relatable to open deeper conversations about history, representation, and cultural pride.
